A full-length drama set in Fannin County, TX in the early 1900's.  Cora Lee Brown, a middle-aged African-American woman settles into a white community, with assurance and grace.  However, she encounters expected resistence in time.

A study in early 20th-century racial tension with a tinge of magical realism.

Two to Waken Him – Based imaginatively on the historical figure of DIETRICH BONHOEFFER, this full-length drama takes place in Dietrich's cell at Tegel Military Prison in Berlin (1943-1945).  Most significantly, the drama is in the mind of Dietrich.  Through flashbacks and hallucinatory moments, as Dietrich's loneliness overwhelms him, he encounters the important events and characters in his life.  (12 characters, a number of whom may be double-cast)

Missing the Mark – A one-act drama set in the early 1900's characterizing the life of a now aging man who once served the Union Army as a sharpshooter (sniper).  The war continues in his head, enigmatic even to him some forty-five or so years later.  The confusion and anger we now know as post-traumatic stress syndrome makes itself known daily on his enabling wife, his tortured daughter, and most of all, his idealistic grandson. Noah in My Bedroom – A one-act, adult comedy (language), set in the present, characterizes the life of Pamela, a recently widowed woman.  She has lost a  life of vitality and intellectual challenge on losing her husband and now moves with a certain automaton-like world weariness.  The Biblical Noah enters her bedroom and life mysteriously.  Noah, as confused as Pamela, tries to understand Jaweh's plan for him.  The play addresses responsibility versus disorientation in crisis. Villanelle --  a full-length drama focusing most of all on questions. . .exploring possible answers about love:  the love of women and men for each other, a father's love for his sons and his deceased wife, but most -- the unusual love of two brothers for each other.  What are love's real-life components?  What sacrifices might love provoke in the face of physical disability and possible death? (6 characters)
